FRYING & GRINDING PEANUTS
Ingredients Needed:
- 2 Bags of Peanuts
Equipment Needed:
- 8” Half Pan
- Measuring Cup
- Hand Blender
Directions:
- Identify the fryer that needs to be changed the next day
- Fry Peanuts in that fryer for 2:00 minutes
- Strain all oil from fry basket
- Load all Peanuts onto a large sheet pan to cool
- Spread out the peanuts evenly onto the large sheet pan
- Mark the fryer used so that it will be thrown out the next morning
- When Peanuts are cooled, add the Peanuts into the Robot Coupe until 1/3 full
- Pulse until Peanuts are crushed evenly
- Repeat Steps 7-8 until all Peanuts are crushed
BECAREFUL OF PEANUT ALLERGIES. AVOID CROSS CONTAMINATION BY CHANGING GLOVES AND WASHING AND SANITIZING ALL DISHES/UTENSILS USED IN THIS PROCESS.
